Speaker Tester - sweep NF generator

In automatic mode, the instrument waits for a speaker connection – the electrical connection is detected and a ‘sweep sine’ sound is played to the speaker – a gradually re-tuned sine wave over a set range, after passing through a low or high pass filter with adjustable steepness as required.

If the operator assesses by hearing that the speaker function is problematic, he or she can switch the unit to manual mode, where the output frequency of the generator can be controlled by a large ergonomic controller.
