Evaluation of piston position in aluminium die casting

For our customer, we have developed two variants (analog and digital) of the unit to evaluate the piston position, which is sensed by a sensor with an analog output of 0 – 5 (10) V.

The unit switches two output relays according to the piston position. On the LEDs, respectively. the display indicates the current piston position and the reached position over the switching limit.

The digital version of the unit is capable of learning switching positions based on piston travel and displays the piston position directly in millimetres or percentages.
