Control unit for airship
The device is based on a Texas Instruments DSP, which is able to directly execute the program from Matlab, and an auxiliary 16-bit microcontroller, which provides communication with sensors and actuators.
The unit controls the airship’s propulsion, integrates a magnetometer, precision air pressure sensors, MEMS accelerometers and gyroscopes, and is equipped with a proprietary ISM-band radio link and GPS and GSM modules.
