DIN rail amplifier

The HLM-AMP-500 is a low frequency amplifier in DIN rail version. The module allows operation in stereo (dual channel) and bridge (single channel) mode with increased power.

The module is designed primarily for installation in intelligent home sound systems. The remote volume control version allows control from the master system or via a shutter switch (“up”/”down”).

The inputs of the module can be wired as symmetrical for better interference suppression or classically as unsymmetrical.

The amplifiers are equipped with internal thermal and overcurrent fuses. The efficiency of the amplifier reaches above average values, typically 80% (on request we will send you specifications of the amplifier’s power dissipation in different operating modes).

Recommended accessories for HLM-AMP amplifiers:

• An essential part of the system is a 12 V or 24 V power supply, either plug-in or DIN rail mounted.
  • If the detector is powered at the same time, it is advisable to consider up to twice the actual used (sinusoidal) power of the amplifier. Thus, for very quiet applications, a 20 W power supply will still be sufficient, but 30-50 W power supplies are recommended. If we wish to sound the room loudly, for example with an alarm announcement using the full power of the amplifier or overloading it, we always choose a source with a large reserve – preferably 100 W – in addition to our 2×20 W amplifier.
